Happy New Year everybody!

Hi everyone,
Just a little post to say happy new year to all of my followers (all 6 of you). Went out for a little wander over Orwell Country Park, this morning. The sun was shining, the sky was blue and the wind was a little brisk. I didn't take my camera with me, except for the one on my iPhone. But I did take a little something I bought for myself last month. It cost £4.25 (on Amazon) and it clips onto the lens of the iPhone and allows you to capture 60x images!
So I've been out and about practising with some macro shots and although they're not great, they give you some idea of the macro world around us.
Here are some of the piccies I grabbed this morning whilst on my walk and, like I say, although they're not great, with some practice they could get better.

Some lichen

Moss

A sage leaf

A decaying apple leaf.

So, it just goes to show that you don't need expensive bits of equipment to do macro photography, you don't even need an iPhone, as these little lenses are available to most camera phones.
I eagerly await the coming of the spring now and REALLY hope it's gonna be a much dryer, insect and animal friendly new year too.
I have some projects I'm working on for the upcoming new year, which I will share with you later on and I hope to get back into the photography side of things as well. Yes, the new year looks promising as I will also be moving out of the broom cupboard and into a much bigger better space that will allow me to do so much more.

So have a happy new year peeps!
